2022 Grand Cherokee Engine Options
Owners of past Jeep Grand Cherokee models have always had a strong menu of engine options. That fact certainly isn’t changing in 2022. The standard powertrain consists of a 3.6-litre, V-6 engine mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. It will make 293 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. Finch Chrysler customers looking for more power and four-wheel-drive capability can choose a 5.7-litre, V-8 attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission as well. The larger power plant will produce 357 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque.
Towing Capacity
Jeep vehicles are historically popular with active people and their families. If a Finch Chrysler customer has a boat or snowmobile trailer to pull, any 2022 Grand Cherokee model should do the job. A Grand Cherokee with a 3.6-litre engine can tow up to 2,818 kg (6,200 lbs.). Buyers choosing the 5.7-litre mill can pull up to 3,300 kg (7,200 lbs.).
