2022 Compass Performance Specs

Versions of the new compass with front-wheel-drive use a six-speed automatic transmission, and four-wheel-drive models use a nine-speed automatic. Engine Stop-Start (ESS) is standard equipment for the 2022 Compass. Each of the new Compass trim grades will produce up to 177 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque.
Drivers will be able to tow up to 907 kg (2,000 lbs.) with a 2022 Compass using one of the available four-wheel-drive systems. The automaker doesn’t advise using the 2022 Jeep Compass for towing with only front-wheel drive.
